POSTER PRESENTATION ABSTRACT SUBMISSION RULES
- The abstract (excluding the title of the paper) should
be minimum 100 and maximum 350 words. (A
bibliography is not required for the paper submission).
- Abstracts can be sent only in English.
- The title of the paper should fully reflect the content of
the study.
- The name, surname, institution, city and contact
addresses of the authors of the paper should be
specified.
- Abstracts should be in structural format; It should be
in the form of “Introduction and Purpose”, “Materials
and Methods”, “Results and Conclusion”.
- At least 3 “Keywords” must be specified.
- Up to 5 photo files (JPEG or PNG) can be uploaded
in each paper (if desired). Uploaded photos can be
photos,tables or figures.
- Only the first letter of the abstract title should be
capitalized (with the exception of abbreviations).
Abstract Topic Themes:
- Disaster Medicine
- Risk Assessment and Vulnerability in Disaster like situations - COVID-19,
Infectious Diseases, Prehospital/Triage, Toxicology and others
- Ethics in Disaster Scenarios
- Public Health Disasters
All Abstracts should be sent by 24:00 (Indian Standard
Time GMT +5:30) on 15 October 2024 at midnight.
Abstracts will be sent to the Scientific Evaluation Board
Members and passed through a closed evaluation process.
NOTE:
- Indicate the corresponding author (provide his/her full
name and email address) and include all author names
and institutional affiliations.
- Last date for submission is October 30th 2024, 12AM.
Earlier submissions and cases related to Disaster
Medicine will get priority for selection for Oral
presentation.

- Abstract must be submitted as a Microsoft Word
document. Once accepted, we will inform you if your abstract
is selected for Poster Presentation.
NOTE: All abstracts that reach the committee within the
specified date will be screened and eligible abstracts will be
selected. Of all the Poster Presentation Abstracts, only Top 3
presentations will be selected for the Podium Presentation.
Therefore Kindly make sure to submit a Unique and Interesting
Case especially related to Disaster scenarios and Disaster
Management.
General Rules:
- Applicants should be registered as delegates for UNITED ‘24
conference
- Entries for the competitions will not be considered unless the
applicant has registered for the conference.
- Applicants can apply multiple abstracts (maximum - 3)
- Applicants are expected to abide by the rules of UNITED ‘24
and violation of rules can lead to disqualification.
- The Academic / Scientific committee's decision regarding
selection will be final.
- All topics related to Disaster Medicine in line with the theme
of conference are preferred
- Submitted abstracts should be original and should not have
been published or presented elsewhere prior to the
conference. All submissions should fulfil appropriate ethical
guidelines.
- All data and information should be anonymized with respect to
patient identification.
